If so, these college scholarships are just for you. We compiled a list of opportunities specifically for students who love taking care of the planet and encouraging green living. Sustainable Solutions Scholarships

How to Apply: Write an essay of 750 words or less on how new innovations related to one of the 20 Greatest Engineering Achievements of the 20th Century will be different as more women and non-white engineers are involved in designing solutions. Use a specific example from your own experience or community to express the importance of different perspectives and explain how diverse engineers can lead to better solutions.
Eligibility: Open to students in grades 3 through 12.

American Society for Enology and Viticulture Scholarship Program

How to Apply: Submit the application and complete a written statement of intent as it relates to a future career in the wine or grape industry elaborating on how you became interested in and what efforts you have made to become familiar with the industry
Eligibility: Open to students who are ASEV Student Members pursuing a degree in enology, viticulture, or in a curriculum emphasizing a science basic to the wine and grape industry. Students must be at least a junior at an accredited four-year college with a minimum 3.0 GPA
Amount: $12,500

Udall Environment Undergraduate Scholarship

How to Apply: Students must complete the online application and write an essay of 800 words or less on how the values of civility, integrity, and consensus resonate with you today and how you exemplify at least one of these values in your personal and professional life. Students must contact their Udall faculty representative in order to submit the application. A list of representatives by school is available on the website.
Eligibility: Students must be a college sophomore or junior interested in conservation, environmental stewardship, or environmental policy and working towards a career that will enable you to address environmental issues on a local, national, or global scale
Amount: Multiple awards of up to $7,000 each

SmartSolar Sustainability Scholarship

How to Apply: Write an essay between 400 and 600 words on what you think is the most impactful way to combat climate change and how you strive to fight climate change in your life.
Eligibility: Open to high school seniors, college, and graduate students.
Amount: $1,000

E-waste Scholarship

How to Apply: Open to high school, college, and graduate students who are U.S. citizens
Eligibility: Students must complete the application and write a short essay about e-waste. The top 10 applications will be selected as finalists, and finalists will be asked to write a 500- to 1,000-word essay about e-waste
Amount: $1,000
Deadline: April 30, 2023

Ventana Ocean Conservation Scholarship

How to Apply: Write an essay between 400 and 600 words on why you care about protecting the ocean, and how you plan to use your degree to do so.
Eligibility: Open to high school seniors, college, and graduate students who are majoring in or intending to major in a major related to ocean conservation including marine biology, ocean conservation, marine science, and environmental science.
Amount: $3,000
