Every scholarship dollar helps when paying for college, so we encourage students to apply to all opportunities available. To provide some help, we've compiled a list of college scholarships below. Read the descriptions and set aside some time to submit your applications before the corresponding deadlines. Remember, every scholarship awarded will reduce your out-of-pocket cost and help ease your mind as you plan for college.

(ISC)² Information Security Undergraduate Scholarship

How to Apply: Provide short answers to six essays questions, including why you chose your major and any contributions you have made to the cybersecurity field
Eligibility: Must be a high school senior or college student pursuing, or plan to pursue, a degree with a focus on cybersecurity or information assurance with at least a 3.3 GPA
Amount: 20 awards between $1,000 and $5,000

Project Yellow Light Billboard Design Contest Scholarship

How to Apply: Create a billboard design to warn your peers of the dangers of texting and driving
Eligibility: Open to high school students and full-time undergraduate students
Amount: $2,000
Deadline: March 1, 2023

Simform STEM Scholarship

How to Apply: Provide a brief synopsis about your current academic program, write a personal statement outlining your career goals, and submit an essay on one of the six provided STEM topics
Eligibility: Open to full-time college students pursuing a career in computer science, applied mathematics, or any other field related to STEM
Amount: $1,000
Deadline: March 15, 2023

DAV Auxiliary Scholarship

How to Apply: Submit an essay of no more than 500 words describing your career aspirations and provide a chronological list of what you have done to serve disabled veterans or their families during the past two years
Eligibility: Open to full-time students attending an accredited college, university, or vocational school in the U.S. with at least a 2.5 GPA
Amount: $2,500
Deadline: March 24, 2023

Houzz Residential Design Scholarship

How to Apply: Create a Houzz student profile that showcases your portfolio and write an essay of no more than 400 words on your biggest residential design style influences
Eligibility: Open to students studying interior design, architecture, or landscape architecture at the undergraduate or graduate level who want to pursue residential design professionally
Amount: $2,500
Deadline: March 31, 2023

Global Perspectives Scholarship

How to Apply: Write an essay no more than 500 words on the most meaningful summer experience you've had
Eligibility: Open to high school and college students attending an accredited college or university
Amount: $1,000
