Welcoming New MEFA Pathway Affiliates

MEFA Pathway is off to a great start for the academic year. Fourteen new schools have committed to integrating the platform into their curriculum and culture as the primary resource for career and academic planning. MEFA Pathway is a free-of-cost academic and career planning platform available to students in grades 6-12, offered by MEFA as an extension of its educational outreach. The many features and activities available in MEFA Pathway help support college and career readiness and success and increase students' access to information about post-secondary planning for all types of goals and interests.

We welcome Paulo Friere Social Justice Charter School in Chicopee, Stone PK-12 Day School in Fall River and Springdale Education Center in Holyoke along with O'Donnell Middle School in Stoughton. All are eager to start using the platform with their students. Schools from Montague include Great Falls Middle School and Turners Falls High School, which will allow students to become familiar with early planning and assist in the transition from middle to high school. We also welcome Whaling City Junior Senior High School in New Bedford along with Amherst Regional High School, Fitchburg High School, and Brookline High School. Additionally, Lunenburg Middle School, The Academy at Keley in Springfield, and Marshall Simonds Middle School in Burlington join as feeders to the districts' affiliate high schools and are ready to start exploring the age-appropriate activities in the MEFA Pathway platform. Finally, we are thrilled to announce the addition of Salem High School and their amazing team of educators. Rachael Kozlowsi, school counselor states,

"We are excited to be able to bring MEFA Pathway to our students. It is extremely user-friendly and visually accessible for our students. The current lessons plans are great and really help connect to the activities in the MyCAP curriculum for Massachusetts."
